Palin Responds

As the days since the Arizona shootings pass by, it becomes more and more clear that the left’s mantra of blaming Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, and talk radio for Jared Loughner’s actions is a complete fabrication.

The simple facts are that Limbaugh and Palin don’t incite hatred when they criticize what democrats are doing. They merely shed light on what might otherwise remain hidden. Is it any wonder the dems want to go back to the days when they had complete control over all media outlets? Loughner didn’t even listen to the news or talk radio.

It will be interesting to watch Obama’s speech tonight and see who appears more presidential – him or Palin. My money is on the lady in the video below.

  1. I do not see any connection between what Palin or anyone else said or did in the past and this shooting in Arizona. Without any proof everyone should have waited instead of trying to connect him to one “side” or the other. I personally do not like the gun or shooting imagery used in any recent political campaign (the crosshairs, “in our sights”, “use our Second Amendment remedies”, etc) but those speeches and ads were not targeted at me (unintentional pun recognized but left intact). I do think it makes those people douches for using that imagery and I still don’t like Sarah Palin, but luckily I still have a right to my opinion. I’ve said it before and I will say it again: this is a mental health issue and not a gun control issue or a political issue. Someone should have recognized the path this man was on and helped him, and maybe that would have made it harder for him to get a gun legally but if he wanted to harm someone he was going to get a gun or some other weapon by some other means. The only way to prevent these things from happening is to make mental health care affordable and accessible, and for people to take the warning signs seriously.

    • By that logic, Obama is a douche by saying, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun”? Just want to be sure I’m following you.

I’m certain that if Obamacare had been implemented in time to provide treatment for this nut job, he would have been given the best possible care a Prozac, then put back on the streets as a cost-cutting measure.
